“Women remember everything.” By Alyssa Milano
1. Women are innately self-conscious. This is not a choice; it’s a genderwide condition. On a bad day, I look in the mirror and see my ten-pound-heavier alter ego. Her name is Bertha. On a really bad day, Bertha sees her two-hundred-pound-heavier alter ego. Her name is Brian Dennehy.
2. Women produce half the world’s food but own only 1 percent of its farmland. So we’re fine with you picking up the tab. And after about three thousand dinners at Nobu, we should be even.
3. Women like porn, too. We just hate it when you hide the porn.
4. Women remember everything. Don’t believe me? Ask your girlfriend where you met. She won’t tell you it was at a party. She’ll say it was a Thursday, she had just come from dinner, where she ate a veggie burger, and she was wearing her friend Cathy’s pink top, which was big on her because Cathy is a big girl. You were wearing a blue button-down, drinking a Jack and Coke with two straws, and talking to Bill, that mutual friend. She waved and you gave her the “what’s up” nod. This still infuriates her. (“How could you give me the nod?”)
'Mistresses' Renewed by ABC Article via Variety.com
ABC has handed a second season to sudsy drama “Mistresses,” and plans to bow the sophomore season next summer. Program debuted on the Alphabet’s lineup in June with “The Bachelorette” as its Monday night lead-in for most of its run.
Though not a great performer, “Mistresses” held steady for most of its run and finished as the No. 2 new scripted series of the summer in adults 18-49, behind “Under the Dome.” And, it improved later in its run when ABC moved it to 9 p.m., and thus didn’t have to face “Dome.”
“Mistresses” closed out season one on Sept. 9, drawing just shy of four million viewers.
Drama, from ABC Studios, stars Alyssa Milano, Rochelle Aytes, Jes Macallan and Yunjin Kim and is based on a Brit format.

ABC: Motive Ended as a Toss Up, Mistresses May
Become a Likely Renewal By Robin Oatley on September 8, 2013 via TVWatchUs
Last week, Mistresses skyrocketed in the ratings, going from a 1.0 to a 1.4 in one week. One high rating is not enough to change the prediction, but if Mistresses scores another high rating next week it will definitely become a Likely or even Certain Renewal.
According to ratings released after Mistresses Season Finale on Monday, they scored their highest audience of 5 million viewers and tied for last week's highest ratings for the season!
Will there will be a Season 2? That is still to be determined.
